Now, lets assume its theory 1 and that the Eldar baseline DNA is still in the homo sapiens family, the youth as stated would have a large amount of genetic deviance from the baseline DNA (the DNA structure used by the geneticists to key to the seed and turn a youth into an astartes in the first place), placing a gene seed inside one would result in a similar result to trying to turn a female or an ogryn into a space marine, meaning that the seed wont be able to bond with the host, would reject it and the youth would die.

However as I said, if we decide for a moment that Eldar belong to the homo sapiens family (which actually has some semi-canon backing in the old rogue trader days), they're would be no problem provided nobody wanted the half Eldar to become a space marine, or then get pregnant / father another child. The only way a half human half Eldar could exist if the Eldar weren't a subspecies of Homo sapiens would be if they were gentic engineering, and given that the only people who know how to do this sort of stuff are machanicus adepts (who are taught to abhor the alien as their first lession) itd be very hard to actually create half eldar half humans this way. If we presume that the Eldar are simply a subspecies of homo Sapien, they're is a chance that the child will be born, however he would be completely infertile and have a large amount of genetic deviance from the baseline human DNA. That would be a very interesting prospect,however I would feel deeply sorry for that space marine because both the eldar and imperium look down on eatchother and he would just be crushed in between.
