The Limbe Deep Seaport, located at the Bota Wharf, used to be operational during the West Cameroon days in the 1960s, 70s and 80s. The much talked about Limbe Deep Sea Port will soon take off, The Post has learnt.

The New Limbe Sea port will serve not only Cameroon to transport minerals, oil and food to and from Cameroon and other brotherly nations, it will ease the anchoring of petroleum ships for repairs coming from other countries. The Korean Port Engineering Corporation that is in charge of the project will soon begin construction works at the AFKO Cement factory site at Ngeme.
